GitHub Pages serves repository sites under a sub-path:

• https://<user>.github.io/<repo>/

Router compatibility

This repo includes a ghpages build configuration that:

• Sets baseHref and deployUrl (defaults to /portfolio/)
• Enables hash routing for GitHub Pages builds (avoids refresh/deep-link 404 issues on static hosting)

Exact build command

npm run build:ghpages

Which runs:

ng build --configuration ghpages

Deploy via GitHub Actions (recommended)

This repo includes GitHub Pages workflow.

In GitHub:

• Repo Settings → Pages
• Source: GitHub Actions

Push to main (or portfoliowebsite) and the workflow will build and deploy.

Note: Angular (SSR-capable) builds emit dist/portfolio-app/browser/index.csr.html; the workflow copies it to index.html for GitHub Pages.

Optional: angular-cli-ghpages

If you prefer a manual publish flow:

npm run build:ghpages
npx angular-cli-ghpages --dir dist/portfolio-app/browser

If your repo name is not portfolio-app

Update the GitHub Pages path in angular.json:

• projects.portfolio-app.architect.build.configurations.ghpages.baseHref
• projects.portfolio-app.architect.build.configurations.ghpages.deployUrl

Set both to /<your-repo-name>/.
